Real Madrid Castilla manager Raul Gonzalez has long been linked with a number of jobs in both Spain and Germany, after five years in charge of the youth side at Valdebebas. With his chances of taking over the first team receding into the distance, it appears Raul is looking to take the jump this summer.

Los Blancos were happy for him to continue, and Raul has previously turned down the likes of Schalke and Bayer Leverkusen, as well as interviewing for the Villarreal job this season. Yet Diario AS say that Hamburg could be the side to tempt him away from Madrid.

Union Berlin will part ways with Sasa Bjelica, and they have been touted as an option for the 46-year-old, but second division Hamburg are perceived as the favourites. Currently being directed by Raul’s former coach at Schalke, Felix Magath, the pair share an excellent relationship and ex-Real Madrid striker appears to be one of the top options to awake the sleeping giant.
